This work is powerful, not because it is meticulously thought out, but because it has so much integrity.  It is clearly evident that this work was produced by Sarah's hand, that it came directly from its source without any compromise.  These are highly charged, focused artworks, indicative of her temperament at the time.

For some of us we dance around the surface, the perimeters of our well conformed minds.  It can take a great deal of persistence to develop a strong trust in our own practice, where by we can slip into 'the zone.'  Rho is fully engaged when she works, orchestrating her way around the page at a rapid pace.  There lies a seamless musicality in her work, that is anything but inhibited.

Saren's marks are spirited, descriptive and ultimately felt.  In abandoning the learnt behaviour which holds on tightly to depicting the anatomy in every minute detail, her signature comes through, revealing a delightful translation that is captivating and entirely her own.

The beauty of artwork is to view an image through the Artist's eyes, to be compelled to respond in some way by their story.  John has a very distinctive style which is not compromised and reflects his character.  His marks are honest, joyful and fully committed.

If you have the courage to break the restraints of your logical, orderly mind, the results can be surprisingly poignant.  Mike allows himself to be informed not only by what he is seeing but in his quality of translation.

There is something quite free flowing about working on a roll of paper, it's as if one drawing spas off the next.  Networking ideas, building up conversations and dissecting them. The fulcrum is revealed to you at the end, when you unroll your documented drawings and your passage is clearly demarcated.
